Carbon60 are looking for a Process Writer (Procurement) for a 3 month contract based position.
We are looking for someone who can help write the Procurement processes for the clients Telecoms side of their Business.
Candidates will need to understand the clients existing Group Procurement Policies and Practices, their relevance to the Telecoms business and how they need to be adapted, replaced, or discarded to fit in with: -1. Telecoms Procurement Systems landscape, including Workday ERP system (P2P).2. Audit & Compliance for Telecoms.3. Target Operating Model.
Understanding the Contracts in use for the division:
- Work with Legal department to adapt existing company templates & PO terms for the Telecoms business.
- Map out the workflow for consents and approvals for Contracts.
- Agree Authorisation levels for Contracts.
- Delegation of Authority & Separation of Duties.
- Risk Register.
- Change Management.
- Companies SharePoint/Intranet pages - How to Buy/FAQs.
There is already a process template and we need someone who can translate what is there to work for the new business model.
Knowledge of procurement would be highly beneficial to gain understanding and writing of the new processes.
The ideal candidate:
Must be Self-reliant and able to work on own initiative, managing their own workload with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
The role can be based either from the clients offices in Reading or working remotely from home during the current pandemic for an initial 3 month contract period.
The position is offered on a full time basis (40 hours per week) but we would also consider someone working in a part-time role if required.
