Scrum Master / Delivery Manager (Enterprise Data Platform)
30 Months Contract
This is a really exciting opportunity to be part of a new initiative within our organisation, managing the delivery of our new cloud-based data and analytics platform - the Enterprise Data Platform. This is an entirely new initiative for the organisation, and this is a unique opportunity to be a part of it.
A fantastic opportunity here for an experienced delivery manager / scrum master to join a friendly, collaborative team, who are currently building exciting analytics solutions on our new platform, for colleagues across our entire organisation.
Experience
The Scrum Master should have experience of:
Managing the delivery of products within multiple workstreams, or programme, environment;
Managing a very busy, dynamic working environment, with the ability to coordinate the delivery team and balancing competing demands for support;
Using MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and DevOps tools such as Microsoft DevOps (specifically the post holder should be able to demonstrate experience of: creating reports, converting data using pivot tables, tracking financial information, producing presentations and reports);
Using software tools to plan and track project activities (a sound understanding of the principals of project planning is more important than experience with a specific software tool);
Prior experience of working within an 'IS' or 'ICT' environment (desirable)
Qualifications and Skills
Previous Project Manager/Scrum Master experience. Ideally using PMI/ PRINCE2/Agile or other structured workstream delivery methodology
Strong written and oral communication skills and an open communication style with the ability to ideas of new ways of working to improve business efficiency
Strong customer service orientation.
Experience of working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Being able to develop information in concise reports and provide it to others
Previous experience working on data warehouse / data platform projects desirable but not essential
