Technical Applications Analyst - GIS

My client is a market leader in clean water services and are currently looking for a GIS specialist due to continued growth.

What you'll deliver

• 24x7x365 availability of our geospatial applications * Support for the delivery of all security patches and updates on systems of your responsibility,

ensuring no impact to end service

• Implementation of all changes on services of your responsibility across the geospatial portfolio
• Full documentation for all geospatial application services within your area of responsibility
• Input into business cases defining the costs and benefits associated with requested changes

when required

• Support the development of the geospatial application systems portfolio roadmap for areas of

responsibility

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Good technical and functional knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS products, particularly ArcGIS

Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online

• Good knowledge and understanding of service management protocols and procedures (ITIL)
• Knowledge of root cause analysis
• Able to work in a pressurised situation during tight project deadlines or operational incidents

Desirable

• Experience of using FME, Geocortex, and/or Geofield
• Experience of working within an Agile delivery framework
• Experience of working with Geospatial Applications
