I am currently recruiting for a proven Senior Solutions Architect, for a permanent / staff position, to join my Client's team in Berkshire. My Client is undergoing some substantial changes and seek your significant experience to deliver the right solutions to support the growth of the business. The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of the high-level architectures and solution designs for the billing and CRM, sales & marketing domain systems. You'll establish strong relationships with stakeholders by inspiring confidence in the delivery of a portfolio of business-focused projects and initiatives and a mix of large Industry - driven Programmes. You'll follow my Client's project delivery and architecture frameworks and you'll be comfortable with both waterfall and agile delivery methods. You'll be very familiar with SaaS - based solutions and with Cloud best practices, with a strong preference for Azure. You will be leading effective conversations with Cloud and infrastructure architects, Security architects and engineering. You'll show ability to quickly address problems at the right level, from high level application architecture to detailed integration patterns.
A key part of the role will be to ensure my Client make's progress on their key issues, while keeping solutions aligned to organisation and industry standards and with other programmes/projects, for which a seamless collaboration with your team and with other Architects across my Client's business unit is fundamental.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:You will be expected to demonstrate the following skills and experience: * Understand the problem space: delivery of solution architectures and designs for core Billing and CRM, Sales and Marketing solutions through their full life cycle, while maintaining alignment with IT/industry standards and company strategy* Being recognised as a trusted adviser to business stakeholders and being able to quickly "map" their needs to application functionality/features. Advise stakeholders on best practices and Architectures for Billing and CRM, Sales and Marketing* Being able to lead a project from an architecture perspective, ensuring that all decisions that are architecturally relevant can be taken following the appropriate governance (including peer review) and proactively informing the project plan in that direction* A track record of delivery in both waterfall and agile environments* Understanding of Event Driven Architectures and related patterns* Excellent communicator with ability to operate within cross functional teams* Understand a broad range of technologies, ideally including current digital technologies, Big Data and Analytics, Integration and Public Cloud (particularly Azure)* Previous experience of the UK energy industry and experience with MS Dynamics 365 would be strongly advantageous.
