Helping to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue a career in STEM.
Who are In2scienceUK?
This award-winning charity supported 670 students on their 2021 programme, giving them the opportunity to develop their confidence in STEM and unlock their potential. This includes helping them to find local industry placements, skills, employability, and career workshops.
Students on the 2021 programme gained insight into a breadth of STEM topics from how to stop an aircraft from crashing, biodiversity loss: UK insect decline and cyber security.
75% of In2scienceUK’s students go on to study science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) and ultimately join a career in STEM. This is a stat they are particularly proud of as 82% of them will be the first in their family to go into further education at all.
