A great opportunity is now available for a proven Electrical Site Engineer with experience in the EPC of high voltage (HV) utility scale renewable energy projects, to join my Client's renewable energy team in Italy. The Site Engineer (renewable energy) will work closely under my Client's Project Management team to support the on-site operations, at various locations throughout Italy, during the construction period, to ensure on schedule completion and compliance with my Client's high-quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global leader in the renewable energy sector.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other related Engineering fields
• Experience in the construction of utility scale renewable energy projects (Ideally PV)
• Flexibility to travel and stay away from home.
• Professional levels of Italian and English language required.
• Open to applicants who are legally entitled to work in the EU.

What will you be doing?

• Study and understanding project designs, crosscheck for errors, and report to the Construction Manager
• Follow-up of the connection process with the local authorities
• Report daily and weekly progress and materials to the Construction Manager
• Monitor construction material stock.
• Oversee installation work quality and precision to the design
• General supervision of Grid Connection Works, construction of HV Substations and construction of HV lines and coordination with Construction Manager, Site Engineers, and other stakeholders
• Support the implementation of the relevant HV procedures.
