This role is responsible for delivering commercial activities within the Delivery teams. The role works alongside the supply chain and contractors within the development delivery teams, assuring and supporting their commercial activities to provide an independent view to Head of Commercial.

This commercial role is effectively a Senior Third Party Agreements Manager who will lead the negotiation, development and embedding of contractual arrangements with selected third parties e.g. for the protection, diversion and connection of third party assets, to facilitate the construction and operation of one of Europe's larges and most complex projects.

This is a contract position at a large organisation to deal with commercial agreements within Land, Property, Civils, Rail, Utilities and Highways.

Good knowledge and ability to draft agreements, negotiate with large organisations, public and private sector. NEC style contracts, ability to develop strategic relationships and collaborate with all parties. Developing solutions for when situations require change.

The Senior Third Party Agreements Manager will have responsibility for
Commercial Agreements of varied complexity and value. At any one point in time the post holder will have relationships with circa 10 third parties and be leading on 20-30 agreements. The value of agreements will vary from low value agreements which may still be of strategic and commercial importance, to agreements with values of up to circa £100m.
