Shift Lead FM Engineer - Central London - £50,000 plus shift allowance

Are you an experienced Multiskilled Lead FM Engineer looking for a new role?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK based at one of their prestigious clients' sites in Central London.

Location: Central London

Hour of work: Continental, 12 hour shifts, 4 on, 4 off, Days and Nights.

Salary: £50,000 plus shift allowance

Role Responsibilities:

  • Check and review contractor performance.
  • Supervision & assistance to subcontractors on site as and when required.
  • Act as duty AP for LV electrical, mechanical pressure systems and hot works
  • Manage PPM and reactive work completion for relevant shift
  • Manage all documentation relating to compliance, PPM, and reactive work
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on various M&E engineering services with focus on critical systems
  • Reactive attendance to emergency breakdowns plus subsequent fault diagnosis & repair
  • Weekly & monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled (fire alarm tests, flushing of little used outlets / water temperature recording, emergency lighting tests, etc.)
  • Completion of documentation including RAMS and adhere to all associated permits

The successful candidate:

  • Building Services Maintenance experience- 18th Edition, 2330, 2391 or equivalent, LV AP experience, City and Guilds Level 1, 2 and 3
  • L8 Legionella management
  • A good understanding of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems and the management of safe systems of work. Minimum of IOSH Managing Safely.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and Customer Service skills
  • Have a proactive approach to maintenance and building management
  • Ability to provide a schedule of works for identified additional/remedial works
  • Writing and following risk and method statements as required
  • Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance
  • Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer-based systems
