Web Developer

Carbon60 are currently working in partnership with a very well know aviation engineer company to recruit for an experienced Web Developer to join the business on a permanent basis. This position is being hired mainly to support the business with all development and support for the internal applications and company intranet.

The location of the business is just outside of Heathrow Airport in the Town or Hayes.

The successful candidate will need to have prior experience working with ASP.net, .net core, SQL Servers and C#.

After an initial couple of months within the business this position can be performed on a hybrid basis (2 days in the office and 3 days at home)

Responsibilities:

• Developing company website, intranet and portals and applications using: ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server
• Code management and bug fixing.
• Provide 2^nd line support for internal web applications.
• Support the IT team with change and upgrade projects.
• Review project requirements, defining deliverable' and liaising with the requester to gather information and ensure time frames are met.
• Work to enhance and maintain existing company web applications (intranet)
• Help plan & design software development practices.
• Create documentation and specifications.
• Prepare reports and presentations for the senior management team.

Experience Required:

• Experience working with ASP.net or .net core.
• Ability to work with C# and SQL Server
• Knowledge & understanding of jQuery, Java is beneficial but not essential.
• Basic Knowledge in an ERP System would be helpful
• JavaScript framework
• Web API, Web Services
• Experience with source code management tools
