This multi-national company offers in depth expertise in the key activities of electrical installation, mechanical & piping and process control. Covering all the major industrial sectors, working directly with industrial clients or as partners of specialised contractors or major engineering firms. With the primary aim of meeting client's needs and optimising their industrial performance, the company builds on a broad range of expertise, successful track record and an extensive network. With that in mind, this is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical design technician - CAD Designer to join the company supporting major projects across Birmingham from the company's office in B30 2PF.

Duties

As a suitably qualified and experienced electrical design technician - CAD designer you will be working on a variety of projects associated with live wire testing of commercial and industrial buildings. With particular responsibility to produce new electrical design layouts from existing layouts, electrical condition reports and site surveys. In effect reverse designing the electrical layouts of commercial and industrial buildings.

About You

Based ideally in the Birmingham you will need to live within a commutable distance of B30 2PF.

Demonstrable experience of producing electrical design layouts using CAD software with a familiarisation of AMTECH and knowledge of electrical installations is preferred.

A recognised electrical qualification for example, 18th edition wiring regulations would be advantageous.

Applications from advanced CAD operators will be considered.
