Are you an experienced Handyperson with experience in the Building Services industry?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK working on their prestigious clients' site based in Peacehaven, Sussex.

Salary: £22k Plus excellent benefits

Location: Peacehaven, Sussex

Role Responsibilities:

• Routine planned maintenance tasks as directed covering all buildings within the site and to include painting, unskilled carpentry work, small plumbing works
• Operate Forklift as directed
• Install and dismantle pasma/stair towers (training to be provided)
• To ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed satisfactorily.
• To undertake all duties in a safe, tidy and responsible manner in accordance with H&S requirements
• Completion of quotes including labour plus parts.
• Ensure all works are correctly allocated and produced accurately for invoicing purposes

The successful person:

• A good understanding of the facilities services industry and a basic appreciation of building services is essential
• 18th Edition Essential
• Technical expertise, qualifications or apprenticeship in a craft skill or engineering discipline
• Knowledge of key operational procedures e.g., time sheets, planned maintenance systems, Quality and Health & Safety
• Good communication skills
• Literate and numerate
• A team player with the ability to work from their own initiative
