
Job Title: Contract Supervisor (FM / M&E)Based: Kingston Upon HullHours of Work: 08.00am - 17.00pm Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).Rate: Negotiable on Experience
Purpose of the Job:
The Contract Supervisor position is responsible for the coordination of FM & M&E Technical Services on a large site to meet SLA requirements and key performance indicators.Role Summary:
- Primary focus on delivery of all FM Operations in accordance with KPI & Output measurements.
- Support / Monitor 3rd party maintenance supplier activities when required and report any corrective works arising.
- Responsible for 8 x 24/7 Shift engineers.
- Liaise with helpdesk around PPM and reactive tasks.
- Have daily contact with the Client around activity at site.
- Take ownership for logbooks at site and ensure they are continually updated.
- Comply with QHSE requirements.
- Act as 1st escalation point in and out of hours.
- Ensure all contractors, under sphere of control, operate within appropriate H&S processes and client HSE standards.
- Conduct monthly self-assessment SLA checks in support of quarterly contract performance requirements.
- Responsible for the image and visual standards of the site/s taking ownership of any issues or concerns.
- Take ownership and understand customer requirements and be able to demonstrate the ability to close out concerns, ensuring customer is kept appraised at all times.
- Act as deputy in the absence of line management.
- Provide and arrange cover for the operational team as required.
- Other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.
Experience Required:
- NVQ or Equivalent Qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Knowledge and awareness of the M&E / Facilities Management (FM) sector.
- Practical experience in working with supply partners to deliver a seamless, integrated service.
- Strong PC skills - MS Office.
- Self-motivated and resourceful.
- Good administrative skills.
- Good prioritisation and planning skills.
- Customer services experience.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Service orientated attitude combined with innovative thinking.
