Engineering Technician

IMS Scotland are looking for an experienced Engineering Technician to join their team in Clydebank. As an Engineering Technician you will manage the site operations involved within the construction of the City Fibre network.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyse the drawing & work pack information (check if any changes to drawings). Creation of the relevant As-built record sheets/information
• Assign workloads to testing teams (currently 2nr 2 operative teams) & co-ordinate the testing activities in order to achieve the required handover dates
• Manage the blockages programme (data capture, issue of notice, complete works & report)
• Complete relevant paperwork to show all tubes are tested and proven
• Complete As-builts information for cabinets, chambers & civils build

You will need:

• As-Built experience
• Bluebeam experience
• 2 years post graduate construction experience within the civil engineering industry & within utilities construction site arena
• Working knowledge of managing Streetworks within Scotland
