8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday

6 month temporary role which may lead to a permanent position.

The company is a UK leading engineering business specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the manufacturing industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes pipework and plant installations, planned and preventive maintenance along with a variety of other engineering services. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator - Fleet Services, to join the company's Head Office function, supporting the group fleet operations.

Duties

As a suitably experienced administrator, ideally with knowledge of fleet management you will be working within the company's office in Kings Norton. Primary responsibilities will to manage the company extensive fleet of vehicles in line with the company's policies and procedures. Typical duties will include, maintaining vehicle service, maintenance, MOT and V5 records for all vehicles and pool cars. Ensuring vehicle check records are completed and filed. Processing driving for work applications and carrying out employee driving license checks. Managing documentation for grey fleet such as insurance, MOT and service history. Coordinating the application of fines, pool vehicles, driver logs, repairs, servicing and fuel cards. Other duties will include processing purchase requisitions, dealing with insurance queries and arranging hire vehicles. From time to time you will also be required to help the administration team with other works including inputting timesheets, raising purchase order numbers and booking hotels for engineers.

About You

Based ideally in Birmingham you will need to live within a 45-minute commute of B30 3HN.

Demonstrable experience of working within an office administration or technical support role with a good working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel software packages. You will have an excellent telephone manner and a thorough understanding of internal and external customer service.

The job may also include taking cars and vans to local garages for service and MOT, so you will need a full UK driving license.
