
NPI Project Engineer - Rhondda Cynon Taff - £40k Up to DOE
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company who are experiencing significant growth at their site based in Rhondda Cynon Taff.
Salary: £40k Up to DOE
Location: Rhondda Cynon Taff
Hours of work: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Thursday
7:00am - 1:30pm Friday
NPI Project Engineer:
The role:
- Responsible for introduction of new products from design freeze/initial customer order to production using...
- Feasibility Study, Master Schedules, Internal Progress Meetings and Phase, Cost Tracking, Management of project within company APQP procedure.
- Report to management the project status via timing plans, reports, and project cost control.
- Ensure that process flow layouts, control plans, work instructions and quality check sheets (Quality department) are implemented.
- Organise and co-ordinate pre-production sample manufacturing and supply.
- Ensure customer CAD is correct, and all information conveyed to Process Engineering / Production
- Work with colleagues in Quality department to achieve timely customer approvals according to PPAP requirements.
- Support customers to resolve quality concerns.
The successful candidate:
- Must have worked previously in a NPI Project Engineering role.
- Experience using Microsoft Projects would be an advantage but not essential.
- Must have experience managing a project from initial customer order through to production.
- Qualified in an engineering discipline.
- Experience within NPI is essential.
- Excellent communication skills including customer contact.
- Competency in Feasibility Studies, PFMEA, APQP and PPAP
