Building Service Manager- salary up to 56,000 -Co Kildare, Ireland We are pleased to present this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, diligent, focused individual that really want to make a difference in an exciting, state of the art facility. Building Service Manager will be responsible for the day to day site operation providing service delivery excellence at all times whilst maintaining compliance within business ops and health and safety. A team player with excellent people management skills, high standards of customer service and the ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure. Client relationships form a key part of this position. Responsibilities:

  • Building Service Manager will directly manage Building & Fabric and landscaping teams, contractors and suppliers
  • Building Service Manager will support GSM with KPI's and client relations
  • Financial management of budgets to ensure control of spending, labour cost monitoring
  • Support GSM and other service managers in daily operations
  • Building Service Manager will cover for GSM when off site


  • Comprehensive knowledge of GMAX contract, and scope of service
  • Support the build of project plans and dependencies through scope planning, schedule development, resource planning and cost budgeting
  • Responsible for delivering training to managed teams, ensuring training are up to date and in accordance with requirements
  • Building Service Manager will work closely with GSM, HR Manager and Account Manager to develop a site support, coaching and information structure to ensure that the team (including self) get the required level of training and mentoring.
  • Building Service Manager have to have a robust audit process in place across the BFM and landscaping service. Daily/weekly building audits performed, actions followed up and data shared with client at monthly governance meetings.
  • Understanding of contract scope and the importance to managing the service including the ability to calculate the rewards/penalties of meeting/not meeting KPIs.
  • Work with service leads and QSHE to ensure that risks related to new and existing services have been established, assessed and mitigated against.
  • Work with HR Manager to ensure that HR procedures are followed and ensuring any people related problems are dealt with in line with policy and procedure.
  • Building Service Manager have to be able to communicate effectively and have flexible approach to work patterns
  • Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure
  • Good organisational and time management skills


  • C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing, & C&G 2391-20 Design & Verification preferred but not required
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or processing industry and working within a GMP environment would be an advantage
  • Understanding of A/C systems and controls
