Finance Business Partner (Various)

Carbon 60 is seeking to recruit 3 Finance Business Partners in Castleford, Birmingham and London into our client's Commercial Accounting team. They will partner with the regional delivery teams, ensuring robust reporting and forecasting.

In Q3 2021 COINS accounting software was acquired and implemented. Our client is on a continuous journey of improvement to maximise utilisation of the system capabilities, increase efficiency of working and shorten the reporting cycle.

Job Description

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Shorten the reporting cycle
• Ensure consistency of accounting treatment
• Improve quality and consistency of CVRs
• Improve transparency of contract performance
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, with variance analysis
• Attend CVR review meetings
• Report R&Os in a timely manner / provide early warning
• Review staff allocations for accuracy and consistency
• Support regional operational and commercial teams
• Support and review performance against cash forecasts from commercial
• Review contract forecasts and produce quarterly reviews
• Manage and report overheads to budgets
• Adhoc tasks as required by local teams or finance

Person Specification

• A newly qualified / finalist (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Recent Construction or Infrastructure background.
• Producing management accounts in a construction-based environment, producing and using contract CVR's.
• Preparing contract out-turn forecasts.
• Use of COINS ERP software.
• Computer literate with strong excel skills
• Able to produce high quality management information
• Work collaboratively across departments

Personal Attributes

• Flexible to travel as necessary and work hours to meet business needs
• BPSS Security Clearance needed.

Pay rate is £54000 to £70000pa DOE and location
