The company is a UK leading engineering business specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the manufacturing industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes pipework and plant installations. planned and preventive maintenance along with a variety of other engineering services. This is a fantastic opportunity for an office administrator to join the company's Head Office function, supporting projects across the UK.
As a suitably experienced administrator you will be working within the company's head office in Kings Norton B30 3ES. With responsibility to ensure all administrative tasks are completed in line with the companies operating procedures. Particular duties will include: reconciling timesheets with expenses, ensuring timesheets are costed correctly and liaising with project engineers to resolve payroll queries in a timely manner. Other duties will include handling external client calls, logging information, data entry, inputting supplier invoices, checking monthly statements, creating purchase orders, preparation of monthly financial trackers along with other general office and telephone duties.
Based ideally in Birmingham, you will need to live within a one hour commute of B30 3ES.
Demonstrable experience within a similar administration role is preferred for this position, although full training will be given on the companies procedures and systems.
Working experience of Excel and Microsoft Word.
In return for your experience you will receive an hourly rate of between £10.50 PAYE and £11.05 PAYE per hour with a range of other benefits.
