Operations Support Team Member

Carbon60 is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operations Support Team Member to join their client based in Broughton. As an Operations Support Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of this company's manufacturing processes.

This is a contract position offering both PAYE and Umbrella rates.

The Operations Support Team Member will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

- Controlling and managing cutting tool stock levels and regrind processes
- Controlling and managing consumables, chemicals, and stock levels
- Managing all calibrated tooling to ensure compliance
- Acting as an interface between calibration and operations
- Raising purchase orders for all tooling and maintenance requirements
- Providing lineside support for production, enabling blockers, and offering support
- Liaising with facilities and maintenance departments to ensure adherence to agreed SLAs and delivery requirements, as well as enabling new requests
- Supporting CAPEX, rate ramp-up, and facility improvement projects
- Leading involvement scheme projects
- Supporting with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) topics

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with tooling experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management
