QS, Quantity Surveyor required to cover Southampton in Hampshire close to Portsmouth or the Slough area of Berkshire along the M3 corridor or M4 near to Reading and Bracknell.

This is a FTC (Fixed Term Contract) initially with the potential to go permanent if desired. Initial FTC is 3 months with a further option to extend as a contractor for a further 3 months.

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team working on a long-term framework upgrading the electrical network across the Wessex region.

In this role, you will provide end-to-end commercial support for the project team, as well as the Commercial team across your regions on a wide range of M&E works.

What do I need to be successful in the role?

We are looking for you to join us with experience of working as a QS overseeing packages of work, ideally in a construction or engineering environment. We would love for you to bring to us;

• A degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience in managing contractual relationships between clients, customers and contractors
• Understanding of COINS ERP and Joblogic Construction software
• A comprehensive commercial understanding of contract price build ups
• Knowledge of NEC3/4 forms of contract
• Due to the locations we cover, we do need you to hold a full UK driving licence

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a FTC up to and beyond Christmas with one of the Uks largest Electrical contractors on a Hybrid, Office, site and home basis.
