Job Title: Electrical Testing & Measuring Inspector
Sector: Transmission
Location: Germany (Preference for candidates based near Dresden)
Working Pattern: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: €Negotiable (Daily Rate) + Reimbursable Expenses (Accommodation, Transportation, Travel)
Clearance Requirements: Background Checks & Valid Right to Work in Germany


Role Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Electrical Testing & Measuring Inspector to support transmission sector projects across Germany. The role involves hands-on testing of Electrical Grounding Systems and Overhead Lines (OHL) using specialized equipment provided by DNV.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical testing and measurements on grounding systems and overhead lines.
  • Operate DNV testing tools and equipment stored in DNV-owned vehicles.
  • Travel to various testing sites across Germany, accompanied by a DNV representative.
  • Record and compile measurement data and inspection findings.
  • Submit detailed Inspection Reports and Excel-based Measurement Data.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications:
  • German Electrotechnician/Engineer or foreign candidate with a valid A1 certificate.
  • Elektrofachkraft Certificate

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in conducting electrical testing independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (medium to advanced level).
  • Valid German Class B Driver's License.
  • Language proficiency: German (B1 or above); English is a plus.
  • Completion of a First Aid Course.

    Additional Information:

    • Travel, accommodation, and other expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with German law, subject to pre-approval.
    • Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany and pass necessary background checks.
    • This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across Germany.
