Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to support the construction of a 50MWp Solar PV Plant in Portugal. The role involves comprehensive site monitoring of civil, electrical, and mechanical activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, legal and regulatory standards, and recognised industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily construction activities across civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.
- Verify compliance with approved design documents and technical specifications.
- Identify and report non-conformities and deviations from project standards.
- Support the Owner in overseeing connection works between the PV plant's switching station and the first pole of the existing 30 kV overhead line linking the São Gens and Pisco clusters.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress reports and quality documentation.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in quality inspection within large-scale solar PV projects.
- Strong understanding of civil, electrical, and mechanical construction standards.
- Familiarity with Portuguese construction regulations and grid connection procedures.
- Excellent reporting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel between project sites.
- Must be eligible to work in Portugal and pass background checks.
Additional Information:
- Travel, accommodation, and other expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with Portuguese law, subject to pre-approval.
- This is a site-based role requiring regular presence at project locations in Trancoso and Sernancelhe.
