Responsibilities
- Accountable for the engineering and design of private networks and associated electrical infrastructure. Supporting the development of design for Electrical Distribution projects for our project in slough.
- Responsible for the planning, designing and provision of technical information and advice to internal and external client for complex electrical construction works on large HV and EHV networks and associated plant and equipment, including specifying design, installation and commissioning procedures.
- Liaison with Transmission and/or Distribution operators to support the development of the proposed scheme and provide technical leadership to prepare a variety of complex engineering deliverables for EHV and HV electrical distribution networks designs, complying with the relevant design standards and industry legislation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce detailed design and functional specifications for electrical network infrastructure ensuring solutions and specifications are represented in a contractually effective way to hold strong and resilient contracts, while supporting the tendering and execution of delivery contracts to ensure that design requirements are adhered to.
What do I need?
- 132kv experience.
- Delivering engineering and design on a major programme of reinforcement works for client's private electricity network at Slough Trading Estate.
- Must be knowledgeable of all relevant legislation and design standards.
- Experienced in planning, designing and provisioning of technical information and advice to internal and external customers for complex electrical construction works on large HV and EHV networks and associated plant and equipment, including specifying design, installation and commissioning procedures.
