The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food process industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installation along with planned and preventive maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fabricator MIG welder to join the company's mechanical engineering division at their workshop in Rushden, Northamptonshire.

Duties.

As a fabricator MIG welder you will be working within a workshop environment, fabricating from mild steel box section and tube, then MIG welding bespoke items for the food processing industry. Typically, machine guards, handrails, railings, balustrading, brackets, supports, frames and platforms. You will be required to mark out, fabricate, tack then weld all from engineering drawings and specifications supplied by the engineering manager. There will also be some site installation and fixing works.

About You.

Based ideally in Northamptonshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of NN10 6AR.

Demonstrable experience of fabricating and MIG welding mild steel is essential for this role.

Experience of fabricating and TIG welding stainless steel would be advantageous.

SPA - Food and Beverage or CSCS Card would be useful but isn't essential
