Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector to support ad hoc inspection activities within the Fibre Optic Subsea Cables sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of fibre optic cable systems and joint assemblies.

Core Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify FO cable system designs and joint technologies.
• Review and interpret test specifications and ensure compliance.
• Conduct inspections of joint assemblies and report findings.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical inspection, ideally within subsea cable systems.
• Strong knowledge of fibre optic cable system design, joint technology, and test specifications.
• Understanding of joint assembly processes.
• Right to work in Germany.
• Based locally in or near Nordenham.
