🚀 Production Planner - Aerospace Manufacturing

Are you a detail-driven Production Planner with a passion for aerospace manufacturing? We're looking for someone to join our team in Farnborough, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and on time.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that align with customer demand, inventory levels, and available resources. Using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), you'll manage production orders, work orders, and material requisitions, while keeping a close eye on capacity and deadlines.

Inventory management will be a key part of your role-tracking raw materials, coordinating stock movements, and using MRP tools to ensure timely procurement. You'll also generate reports and analyse KPIs like on-time delivery, production efficiency, and inventory turnover to help forecast future needs and optimise planning.

Collaboration is essential. You'll work closely with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure materials meet specifications, and act as a liaison between the production floor and management to communicate progress, delays, and constraints.

As part of our continuous improvement culture, you'll contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives, identifying ways to reduce waste and improve resource utilisation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Solid experience in production planning/material planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of MRP systems, production processes, and supply chain management
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards (AS9100, FAA regulations)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools

Additional Info:

  • Work Pattern: Standard weekdays (no shifts, weekends, or flex uplift)
  • Travel: Occasional, as required
  • Need fullRight to work in UK
