Project Manager - Mobile Technical Services (Scotland)
Location: Bellshill - Glasgow
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, temporary - might go perm.
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a variety of project works across customer sites in Scotland, predominantly supporting a housing group. You'll be responsible for managing multiple projects (up to £2,000,000 in value), ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a range of project works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Consult with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and develop clear briefs.
- Collaborate with consultants, designers, and subcontractors to define and document project scopes.
- Manage project risks, statutory requirements, and ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
- Oversee project programmes, monitor progress, and manage any risks or delays.
- Build strong relationships with clients, site teams, and supply partners.
- Ensure all projects meet SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) standards.
- Provide regular updates on project status, progress, and financials.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete and appropriately stored.
About You
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years' proven Project Management experience in M&E, FM, construction, or critical environments.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
- Excellent influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the construction market and project management methodologies.
- Broad understanding of construction health and safety law.
- Recognised technical qualification (or significant experience) in management, construction, M or E, or similar.
- CDM awareness.
- Highly organised, results-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
Desirable:
- Understanding of industry methodologies (e.g., Prince2, MAPM, RIBA).
- NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely, and/or SMSTS.
- Recognised qualification in Project Management.
