Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly & Integration
Join a leading defence and aerospace manufacturer as a Manufacturing Engineer supporting unit and missile assembly. You'll be instrumental in ensuring efficient, cost-effective production across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update manufacturing instructions and route cards
- Design, commission, and validate tooling
- Support industrial validation (FMEA, FAI)
- Resolve technical issues during production
- Manage configuration control and design modifications
- Support non-conformance processes using SAP
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 + ONC) or HNC/HND/BEng in Engineering
- 5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role
- Experience in electronic sub-assembly and electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to interpret design drawings and produce build instructions
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Proficient in SAP and familiar with configuration control and validation processes
