Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Office Administrator to work for a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider based in Oldbury.
ROLE: Customer Operations Advisor
PAY RATE: £23,926.50/annum, £12.27/ hour
JOB TYPE : Temp to Perm (12 weeks temp, then permanent upon successful 9 week probation)
LOCATION: Oldbury
HOURS: Monday to Friday, Hours of work "8am - 4pm, 8:30 - 4:30pm or 9am - 5pm", 8 hours per day, 40 hours/week (30 min break)
Flexibility with shift pattern as long as 37.5 hours done within 8am -5pm Monday - Friday.
THE ROLE:
- Using the internal customer service system through a shared inbox, assisting branches within the business via ticket enquiry system responding to colleagues' queries and following up processes as necessary
- Utilizing MS Office to process and respond to queries
- Answering calls/emails and face to face customer service queries
- Data entry via MS Excel and internal data systems
- Following up with suppliers on existing orders to confirm delivery times/orders in process
- Covering reception during staff breaks and as holiday cover
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- Ability to demonstrate a can-do attitude and proactive approach to working within a team environment assisting with the administrative duties of the office
- Able to show own initiative when working independently
- Comfortable handling queries via email, telephone and face to face with external customers and internal colleagues throughout the business
- Basic MS Excel skills, i.e. able to complete data entry accurately, are highly advantageous
