For our client working in aviation and located at Basel Euroairport we are looking for an Avionics Technician Supervisor that is supervising the teamleads and leading the projects.

* Workload: 100%

Tasks & Responsibilities:

* Project end to end handling including the handover from sales, preparing the project work scope, define the schedule and budget, lead the core team, meet milestones and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
* Ensure required tools and material are available or ordered/loaned
* Ensure Safety / EHSQ policies / internal processes and laws are followed and respected
* Recommend changes to processes to meet standards and policies
* Raise reports as required (SIBOP, occurrence/hazard report, support root cause analysis and preventive action)
* Ensure and control daily safe and clean working environment
* Ensure efficient and timely communication (team, management, PM, aircraft mechanical supervisor)
* Supervise a team of Aircraft Avionic Technicians, Leaders and Engineers
* Supervise and prioritize project workload, resources and work distribution in an independent and efficient manner
* Supervise the project avionic work scope including AWRs, from initial receipt to aircraft departure and project completion (technical aspects, project schedule and budgeted hours control)
* Ensure that all incoming defects and findings are quantified, recorded and estimated via AWR process (HB-0059) and ground time impact is evaluated
* Attend project core-team and customer meetings as required by PM
* Act as Mentor & Coach + Engage in self-development, employee engagement

Must Haves:

* Technical degree (Associate Degree / 3 years education in a technical area)
* Minimum two years' experience as Aircraft Avionic Team Leader or at a leadership role within an aviation environment, leading a technical team
* Holder of EASA Part-66 B2/C license, with relevant Type Rating(s)
* Good knowledge on aviation regulations, applicable authority rules and aviation standards
* Advanced knowledge of relevant aircraft systems and maintenance documentations
* Demonstrated project management knowledge and experience, project management certification is an advantage
* Demonstrated leadership skills
* PC literate with MS packages. Experience in using SAP ERP or equivalent
* English C1 level - Advanced (written/spoken)
* Strong communication skills
* Demonstrated problem solving and influencing skills
* Ability to work on Shift/Duty
* Team player and self-motivated
