Quality Lineside Engineer (Nights)
Carbon60 is seeking a talented Quality Lineside Engineer (Nights) to join their client based in Broughton. As a Quality Lineside Engineer (Nights), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety within the organisation.
The Quality Lineside Engineer (Nights) will be responsible for providing specialised quality support and advice on drawings, parts, processes, and support services. You will independently assure that quality requirements have been met and that the quality system is being adhered to within the business.
Both PAYE and Umbrela rates are available. Due to being a Night shift, you will receive 30% shift allowance on top of the hourly rate.
- £24.64 per hour plus shift PAYE
- £32.96 per hour plus shift Umbrella
Key Responsibilities:
- Assure that certification processes are consistently defined and applied within the business.
- Coordinate and lead the investigation of reported quality and technical issues, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.
- Perform initial investigations to assess probable root causes and implement corrective and preventative measures.
- Conduct investigations to assess the probable root cause of any deficiencies noted during process confirmation activities.
- Compile and present quality overviews to the leadership team within the business area.
Required Skillset:
- Ability to interpret drawings and problem-solve using associated tool sets.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to challenge appropriately while maintaining strong relationships.
- Data analysis skills to interpret data sets, graphical data, and draw conclusions.
- Quality or engineering-based background within a major manufacturing industry (desirable).
