Quality Inspector

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector or someone with a background in CNC machined parts inspection, looking for your next challenge in a forward-thinking engineering environment?

Join a company that manufactures precision machined components for world-class products. We're seeking a detail-driven Quality Inspector to play a key role in ensuring our high standards are consistently met across both in-house and sub-contracted parts.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct dimensional inspections using hand measuring equipment
• Work from engineering drawings to verify CNC machined components
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues
• Relay inspection findings clearly and constructively
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring

• Experience inspecting CNC machined parts
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools

Bonus Skills (Not Essential, But Great to Have)

• CMM experience (MITUTOYO MCOSMOS programming)
• Knowledge of Six Sigma / SPC methodologies
• Experience with quality control systems and standards
• Ability to liaise with customers and suppliers
• Involvement in corrective actions and NCR reviews

• Competitive salary: £29,000-£35,000 (depending on experience)
• 5 weeks holiday per year
