Design Quality Engineer

Carbon60 seeking a talented Design Quality Engineer to join their dynamic client based in Broughton. As a Design Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving and delivering improvement projects to support the achievement of the company's quality targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive and deliver improvement projects to support the achievement of the Engineering Wing quality targets.
2. Facilitate and support root cause analysis and practical problem-solving activities.
3. Establish and drive corrective and preventive action plans to improve engineering quality performance and associated deliverables.
4. Identify risks and issues related to the quality of engineering deliverables, and facilitate, support, and drive standardized mitigation plans.
5. Support the deployment of quality standards and apply them within the Engineering organisation.

Required Qualifications:

- Relevant quality and/or engineering experience
- Project management knowledge
- Understanding of failure modes effects analysis and root cause analysis techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

Desirable Qualifications:

- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and Product Data Management Systems
- Understanding of engineering drawing and modification management
- Experience in a design or manufacturing engineering environment
- Ability to communicate in German (verbal and written)
- Programming experience (JavaScript, Google Apps Script, Python)
