Pay Rates:
- £35.00 per hour PAYE
- £46.82 per hour Umbrella
Hours: 35 per week (overtime paid at standard rate)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Interview: One-stage virtual interview
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Change Leader to join a leading aerospace and manufacturing organisation. You'll be responsible for driving product changes (modifications) through the Aircraft Change Process, working with a wide network of stakeholders both locally and internationally.
You'll manage the end-to-end project delivery of modifications, ensuring on-time, on-cost, and on-quality outcomes. The role focuses on "Flow" modifications (under €300k) impacting wing production, with opportunities to work on major modifications and industrial or in-service problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Progress allocated modifications through the Aircraft Change Process (from investigation to closure)
- Ability to drumbeat multi functional team(s) and suppliers through various milestones and deliverables, namely; Critical Design Review (CDR) + Design for manufacture (DFM). Condition of supply changes (COSCR).
- Plan and organise production trials and first implementation checks
- Maintain configuration and MRP toolsets (e.g., SAP)
- Provide regular progress updates and proactively manage risks/issues
- Capture and document lessons learned
About You
- Strong project management skills (PMP certification desirable)
- Experience in configuration management and product changes
- Background in Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, or Production (ideally within aerospace)
- Familiarity with SAP or similar MRP systems is beneficial
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
- Resilient, proactive, and able to work autonomously
