Logistics Business Controller
Carbon60 are currently looking for a Logistics Business Controller to join their client based in Broughton. This position is contract role running until the end of November 2026.
As the Logistics Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of this organisation. Reporting to the leadership team, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and challenging the business operational environment, including strategy, governance, and constraints
- Developing and running financial models, simulations, and scenarios to support decision-making
- Anticipating financial risks and opportunities, and advising on mitigation strategies
- Producing accurate financial reporting and analysing deviations to recommend corrective actions
- Identifying cost optimisation and competitiveness initiatives, and monitoring their materialisation
- Supporting the execution of financial processes, including resource review, headcount targets, and cost reallocation
To succeed in this Logistics Business Controller role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a similar financial planning and analysis role, preferably within the logistics or manufacturing industry
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate and address financial challenges
- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
