The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food process industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installations along with large scale industrial electrical works and planned and preventive maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrician to join the company supporting a project in Bournville, B30 1JR.

Duties

As a suitably qualified and experienced electrician you will be working on site at an existing food production facility. With responsibility to install new power and lighting electrical services from working drawings as supplied, ensuring compliance with current wiring regulations. The duties will typically include: terminating and glanding off cables, running ladder rack, trunking and tray containment and the associated wiring to new machine installations and high bay lighting. Other duties may include installing 2nd fix fixtures and fittings, floor boxes and lighting units.

About You

Based ideally in Birmingham you will need to live within a short commutable distance of B30 1JR

Demonstrable experience of electrical installation within a commercial/industrial environment with strong electrical core engineering background is essential for this role.

Due to the nature of some of the work you must be comfortable working at heights.

Minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent

IPAF preferred but not essential
