About the Role
We are seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join a leading medical technology business specialising in patient-specific solutions for complex surgical procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work on life-changing projects that combine advanced engineering with cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clinical teams to understand patient-specific requirements.
- Create accurate 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Ensure all designs meet ISO 13485 and internal quality standards.
- Optimise designs for additive manufacturing and traditional machining processes.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Training & Development
- Comprehensive onboarding program, including hands-on training at a European production facility.
- Exposure to advanced design guidelines, manufacturing processes, and quality control systems.
- Ongoing professional development and mentorship from experienced engineers.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in medical device design and patient-specific solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to critical deadlines.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX) is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
