Duration: Initial 6 Months + Extension
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Rate: £750 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
Clearance: Right to Work in the UK
Role Overview:
We are recruiting for an Offshore Telecoms Commissioning Engineer to join a global energy client on a major offshore wind farm project. The successful candidate will commission telecom systems including fibre optic networks, IT/OT infrastructure, VOIP phones, TETRA radio, and LTE systems.
Responsibilities:
- Test and remediate fibre optic networks
- Patch and configure networks to project drawings
- Commission VOIP, TETRA, LTE systems
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- Support integration with LV power systems
- Produce commissioning records and reports
Essential Skills:
- Offshore telecoms commissioning experience
- Fibre testing and remediation
- VOIP, LTE/TETRA systems
- Network hardware configuration
- Offshore experience (wind preferred)
- Valid offshore safety and medical certifications
- Full GWO's
