Logistics Business Controller

Carbon60 are seeking an experienced Logistics Business Controller to join their clients dynamic team within a leading aerospace environment based in Broughton. This position is a contract position running until December 2026.

As this is a contract role, we have both PAYEE and Umbrella rates available. This position offers full time hours of 35 hours per week. There is a hybrid option available once you are settled into the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and forecasting, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Develop and maintain multi-year financial targets and models.
• Produce accurate financial reports and analyse performance deviations.
• Identify cost optimisation opportunities and monitor savings initiatives.
• Support execution through resource reviews, headcount targets, and cost reallocation.
• Approve and audit purchase orders, commitments, and accruals.

What We're Looking For

• Strong finance knowledge with experience in financial reporting and governance.
• Background in logistics or operational environments.
• Ability to analyse complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience in process improvement within a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

This role is pivotal in driving financial planning, analysis, and governance within logistics and operational areas. You will play a key part in improving processes, supporting decision-making, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
