We're looking for an experienced professional to deliver high-quality instruction in Marine Control Systems and Diagnostics, mentoring the next generation of engineers and supporting their development. No prior teaching experience is required-just your technical expertise and willingness to guide others.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging training sessions in Marine Control Systems and Diagnostics.
- Maintain and update training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Assess coursework and provide constructive feedback.
- Support trainee welfare and progression throughout their learning journey.
- Contribute to departmental tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a term-time position (45 weeks per year), with scheduled non-working weeks during Christmas, Easter, and August. Salary is pro-rata and includes annual leave and bank holidays.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Strong understanding of Electrical and Electronic Engineering principles.
- Proficiency in IT systems and tools.
Desirable
- Level 3 Teaching Qualification or equivalent (e.g., Defence Train the Trainer).
- Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian engineering environment.
