Lab Test Mean Project Manager

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of a control room that will monitor a lab test means. This role is working with one of our esteemed aerospace clients based in Filton.

As the Lab Test Mean Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the project's time, cost, and quality, while defining the statement of work, preparing the project structure and governance, and managing risks and opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project or program management, preferably with a Project Management Institute (PMI) certification. An engineering background is also highly desirable, as you will be working closely with technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define the project's statement of work and prepare the relevant project structure and governance
- Steer the project execution, using corresponding metrics to monitor progress
- Manage risks and opportunities, and report to external stakeholders
- Capture lessons learned and provide recommendations for future projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven project/program management experience, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Engineering background or technical expertise
- Advanced level of English proficiency
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a high level of agility
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach
