The Multi-skilled Electrician Role

As a Multi-skilled Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out a full range of response repairs, as well as planned works and void maintenance, in both internal and external premises. Your duties will include:

• Performing a variety of electrical tasks to a high level of proficiency
• Coordinating work activities to ensure performance targets are met
• Working within strict timescales and budgets, recommending and seeking approval for any necessary variations
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of building regulations and compliance
• Providing excellent customer service and communication skills
• Supervising and mentoring Apprentices as required
• Ensuring the safety of yourself and others by adhering to the company's Health and Safety policies and procedures

The Ideal Multi-skilled Electrician

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Fully qualified Electrician with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work
• Additional skills across other trades, such as plumbing or carpentry, are highly desirable
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in using PDA equipment to record work activities in real-time
• Working knowledge of statutory legislation related to health and safety, and the ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and method statements
• Willingness to supervise and mentor Apprentices as required
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to use a company or personal vehicle to fulfil daily work activities
