Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Handy Person - Mobile to work for a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider based in Southampton.

ROLE: Handy Person - Mobile
PAY RATE: £14.43 per hour
JOB TYPE: 3 Months
LOCATION: Southampton, (SO40)
HOURS: 40 hours per week, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, Monday to Friday

THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and non-electrical reactive maintenance across sites.
* General building maintenance including plumbing, woodwork, brickwork, painting & decorating.
* Complete statutory checks (fire doors, water hygiene/L8, emergency lighting).
* Attend breakdowns and participate in the on-call rota.
* Supervise contractors and ensure work is completed safely and to standard.
* Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records.
* Deliver high standards of health & safety and customer service.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
* Proven experience in a Handyperson or Facilities Maintenance role.
* Mandatory experience carrying out PPM tasks and non-electrical reactive works (plumbing, woodwork, brickwork, painting & decorating).
* Strong all-round building maintenance skillset.
* Knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload.
* Good communication and basic IT skills.
* Physically fit with a full UK driving licence.
