Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking construction company. This company is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects and maintaining exceptional standards in health and safety, quality, and overall project execution. The role is based on an £18 million education project at Brooksby Melton, focusing on the completion of two college buildings currently under construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the completion of two college buildings, ensuring all work aligns with project timelines and quality standards.
- Organise and enforce health and safety regulations on-site, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Monitor and manage project progress, identifying and addressing any issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably in the education sector or similar projects.
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card are essential.
- First Aid certification is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
