HV Jointing Inspector

Role: HV Jointing Quality Inspector
Location: Norwich area
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Rate: All-In Day Rate (Outside IR35)
Working Pattern: Onsite, 5 days per week, 10 hours per day
Clearance: Proof of Right to Work in the UK

Certifications & Experience Required:

• H&S, ISO QMS Auditor, LV/MV equipment inspection
• Time-served with HNC/HND or craft qualification in Electrical discipline
• Professional standard of written and spoken English

Role Overview:
We are seeking a suitably competent resident Jointing Inspector for a 320kV HVDC Onshore export cable/FO cables and 400kV grid connection works in the Norwich area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor against contractual specifications and ITPs
• Witness testing as per contract
• Write daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Identify NCRs and maintain open point logs
• Conduct surveillance and monitor completions process
• Escalate issues to Project QM and wider Quality Team
• Attend quality meetings and write minutes
• Liaise with project team and support quality processes
