Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Plasterer to work for our client based in Oldham, UK .

ROLE: Plasterer

PAY RATE: £28.00 per hour Umbrella

JOB TYPE: Contract - 6 to 12 Months

LOCATION: Oldham, UK (OL9)

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week - 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM

THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:

• Carry out plastering tasks including surface preparation, bonding, browning, skimming, rendering, and patch repairs.
• Repair or replace plasterboard on walls and ceilings.
• Complete damp works and DPC systems as required.
• Ensure all work meets company quality and workmanship standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle responsibly.
• Follow all health & safety rules and wear appropriate PPE/uniform.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy at the end of each day.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and office teams.
• Coordinate materials and complete required documentation accurately.
• Deliver high standards of customer care at all times.

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:

• Proven plastering experience with up-to-date industry knowledge.
• Understanding of current health & safety legislation.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional attitude and strong communication skills.
• Reliable, organised, and safety-focused approach to work.
