Machine Tool Service Engineer - Portsmouth Area - £46k + Van + Overtime (OTE £55k)

A leading engineering services provider is seeking an experienced Machine Tool Service Engineer to join their skilled field engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on machine tools
• Attend emergency call-outs, diagnose faults, and complete repairs
• Install, commission, and test machinery on customer sites
• Provide both mechanical and electrical servicing
• Work with CNC control systems (experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain highly desirable)
• Represent the company professionally while working on a wide range of customer sites
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation

These locations allow easy access to regional customer sites and to the Portsmouth office when required.

Requirements

• Experience servicing machine tools or similar industrial equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Confident working independently on customer sites
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away occasionally
• Ability to obtain medium‑level security clearance (fully supported)
