Pipe Fitter TIG Welder - Process Pipework

Skelmersdale, WN8 9PS.

52 Hours Monday - Friday 7.00am - 17.30pm

6 months work.

Our client is a leading engineering service provider in specialist hygienic mechanical and electrical systems. Working almost exclusively in the food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical and personal care industries. Operating out of offices across the UK their multi-disciplinary teams provide turnkey solutions from pre-project feasibility studies and initial conceptual design, through to manufacture, installation and commissioning, inclusive of all aspects of Project & H&S Management, Process & Service Pipework Fabrication, Equipment Relocation, Electrical C&I, Panel building & software, Civil Engineering and Construction.This is an excellent opportunity for a Pipe fitter TIG Welder - Process Pipework, to join the company's on site operation supporting a new build project in Skelmersdale.

Duties

As a suitably qualified and experienced pipe fitter TIG welder you will be working on site at a food production facility in Skelmersdale, WN8 9PS. Typical duties will include fabricating and butt welding 1" to 4" OD thin wall stainless steel pipework, with a small amount of schedule 10 stainless steel pipework up to 4" diameter along with carbon steel up to 6". Other duties will include fabricating brackets and associated supports along with assisting other pipe fitter welders as necessary.

About you

Ideally based in the Lancashire you will need to live within a commutable distance of WN8 9PS.
Demonstrable experience of pipe-fitting and stainless steel TIG butt welding within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment is essential for this role.
You'll also need to have good all round welding experience with current or previous coding's to back this up along with air fed mask, welding plant, workbench and a good selection of hand and power tools.

Minimum CSCS or CCNSG
