Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Painter and Decorator to work for our specialised industrial client based in Oldham, UK.

ROLE: Painter and Decorator

PAY RATE: £ 26 per hour CIS

JOB TYPE: 3 Months contract

LOCATION: Oldham, UK (OL9)

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week - 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM

THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:

• Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and priming
• Applying paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, and woodwork.
• Carrying out decorating works in void (empty) properties.
• Ensuring a high-quality finish within set deadlines.
• Identifying and reporting any additional repair issues within properties.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicle (van provided).
• Following health & safety regulations at all times.
• Travelling between properties as required.

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating (essential).
• Proven experience in void property painting.
• Valid Driving Licence (held for at least 12 months).
• DBS Check required.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
