Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Technician to work for our specialised industrial client based in Worcester, UK.

ROLE: Multi-Skilled Technician

PAY RATE: £ 18.00 - £ 23.00 PAYE

JOB TYPE: 3 Months contract

LOCATION: Worcester, UK (WR5)

HOURS: 40.00 hours per week - 08:00 am to 05:00 pm

THE ROLE:
Main duties & responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across site facilities.
• Perform repairs to building fabric, carpentry, plumbing, doors, locks, walls, flooring, and general fixtures.
• Complete external ground maintenance and minor site works.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently.
• Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and urgent repair requests.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and inventory logs.
• Liaise with helpdesk, contractors, and site teams when required.
• Follow health & safety procedures and use correct PPE at all times.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or multi-skilled technician roles.
• Good knowledge of building fabric, carpentry, and plumbing repairs.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures and PPE.
• Physically fit and able to lift, climb, and carry out manual work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours if required.
• High school education or equivalent qualification.
• Trade certification or apprenticeship is advantageous.
• Will require an Enhanced DBS check.
